Shimano monofilament wind-on leaders are exclusively designed for bottomfishing with Lucanus jigs. The wind-on leader provides connection between the main braided-line and the shock leader. Shimano wind-on leaders are an easy and fast loop-to-loop system - virtually eliminating bulky knots. Plus, the shorter braided hollow section provides a smooth and long casting distance, resulting in less friction through the rod guides.
